Crop Production and Protection National Programs deliver science-based information, genetic resources, and technologies for increased crop productivity, economically and environmentally sustainable methods of crop production, and protection from plant diseases and pests.

Climate Change Component
Climate change and related weather variability will impact crop production systems, and may result in increased biotic and abiotic stresses on crop production. This program conducts research on new crops and protection of existing crops in order to help ensure a safe, abundant supply of food, fiber and feed.
